SWE has provided water rights consulting services to Centennial related to Water Rights Protection in the South Platte River Basin since 2005.  Centennial is located in the Southern Denver Metro area serving water to the Highlands Ranch development in Douglas County.  This work involves evaluation of various applications for water rights, changes and augmentation plans.  SWE conducts evaluations of historical consumptive use, groundwater pumping depletions, irrigation return flows and river administration.  Recommendations for terms and conditions to prevent injury to existing water rights are provided.  SWE provides expert witness testimony and litigation support for protection of Centennial water rights.
